Recently, Creole cuisine has been on the rise in the Denver metro area. People just can’t seem to stop craving the spices in southern gumbo and seafood-filled jambalaya. A Creole kitchen is really the only cuisine category missing among our fantastic line up of diverse eateries in CCN, but not for long! This September Big Easy Creole Kitchen is moving into the open space next to Ondo’s Spanish Tapas Bar. The space (formerly Tambien) is being remolded to feel like a little spot in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The new restaurant will include amazing cuisine, classic New Orleans cocktails, and a traditional oyster bar! Stay tuned for more news about this exciting new opening, and get ready for hurricanes and crab cakes coming at you this September!
PUR-A-THLON

This Friday May 11th, get fit and sweat to support a cause at Pura Vida’s Pur-A-Thlon! Pura Vida is dedicating the hours between 6AM-6PM to Brent’s Place, a nonprofit charity that provides housing and programs for children with life threatening cancer. How can you get involved? Choose between one of Pura Vida’s many work out packages available during the day on Friday and the proceeds from your purchase will go towards the Brent’s Place Foundation. Packages include an individual class, two classes, VIP participant, half day and full day passes. Pura Vida will provide food, beverages, and access to all facilities before and after your class as well as a party that night from 6-8PM to celebrate the 12 hours of fitness and meet some of the children from Brent’s Place! Here ye Princes and Princesses

Have you been waiting for your big moment to shine? Saturday May 12th, Cherry Creek Dance is hosting a special afternoon for all princes, princesses, dogs and frogs to come together in a Princess Parade and Prance. Cherry Creek Dance has called all attendees to arrive in their royal attire at approximately 2PM. Each prince and princess will be given a dance lesson, followed by mini makeovers and face painting from the helpful fairy godmothers all in preparation for the Princess Parade. It will be an afternoon filled with dancing, games, music, and merry making, and Cherry Creek Dance would love for all tiny royals and their families to attend!
