There is a new food and wine festival in town: Eat, drink and be Cherry! at the inaugural Cherry Creek North Food & Wine event the weekend of August 21-23. Brought to you by Steele Street Bank & Trust and the renowned team who does the world famous Cherry Creek Arts Festival, this event kicks off in style with a VIP Party in Fillmore Plaza, Friday the 21st from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Celebrity chef John Tesar will be on hand, and there will be an open bar and live music throughout the evening. 	It’s a mad, mad world Einsteins of eats, Marley and Dan, created Mad Greens at 222 Columbine St. after studying the gastro-legumic history of salad. 	Bigger is better Before the summer winds down, make sure you get to the largest patio in Cherry Creek North, the Argyll’s nearly 1,000 square-foot patio at 2700 E. 3rd Ave. Named for the Scottish clan of Campbell, this type of gastro pub was popularized in London and means “public house.” The food: delicacies from the lochs, bays, waterways, farms and glens of the United Kingdom. 	Two’s day on Tuesday Matching is out, and we don’t mean only in fashion. MiniBar at 2623 E. 2nd Ave is shaking up food and wine pairings.
