Find a fresh start for fall here in the North. As we all return from vacation and remove our email auto-responders, it is time to get back to reality. Ever since our moms got us new saddle oxfords before the first day of school, we’ve recognized this as the time of year to get everything in order: our wardrobes, our homes, our health. Before we go face-first into the 4th quarter, the holidays and (brace yourselves) the New Year—time is ticking to get it together. And we mean business!

PISMO Exhibition of Works by World-Renowned Artist Lino Tagliapietra
PISMO Fine Art Glass, Colorado’s foremost gallery for glass art, will present its sixth solo exhibition of new works by internationally-renowned glass artist Lino Tagliapietra. Lino, now 75, has long been considered one of the premier glass artists in the world. The exhibition will run through September 17th.

	Are You Ready for Some Football?! Kick off football season (yes, American football! finally!) at Denver’s premier sport’s pub, Brandon’s Pub at 3027 E. 2nd Ave. Mamma Ophelia’s authentic fresh New Mexican cuisine (served all day) is teamed with daily happy hours (3-7 p.m. and from 10 p.m.- midnight), making it game-watching headquarters. Where have you been?! Don’t worry, there’s plenty of time—take it from the Broncos; pre-season doesn’t matter anyway.
	Eat Your... Greens? Eating green has never been so delicious. Eco-Burger at 2817 E. 3rd Ave. serves up morally delicious, grass-fed beef with a variety of toppings far above and beyond your average ketchup/mustard combo. Try the smoked blue cheese, prosciutto, salsa and chipotle sour cream and you’ll see what we mean. Of course, there’s also the ahi tuna steak burger or the spicy black bean burger, so there’s plenty to choose from for any palette. One thing is for sure: you’ll want hand-cut fries with that.
	Bye Bye Flip Flop Kick your flip flops to the curb and cozy into the practical yet fashion-forward footwear of fall.
