'Twas the night before
Whether you started Christmas preparations weeks ago or you're a last-minute holiday host, chances are, a to-do list lingers. By the time you've trimmed the tree, fought the mall crowds, baked (or ordered) batch after batch of cookies from heirloom recipes and written Christmas cards so auld acquaintance won't be forgot, you're probably exhausted.
