Take your Valentine to a new incarnation of an old favorite just hatched in Cherry Creek North: The Egg Shell, a local favorite for 25 years, has a new location at 235 Fillmore St. The new and improved Egg Shell now has an outdoor patio with heat lamps, and a full bar, so start your romantic day off right with a mimosa along side of a traditional Two-Egg Breakfast or even something more robust, like Granola French Toast. Smitten or solo, there is no doubt The Egg Shell is a great way to start the day. But hey, we’re talkin’ Valentine’s Day here, so order something sweet.

Pop the Question
You already know what you’re asking, head to the Italian trattoria with a contemporary twist in the heart of Cherry Creek North – NoRTH. The February 14th special is $35 per person from 4-5:30 p.m. or $55 per person from 5:30 p.m. to closing. Choose three of the dinner courses on this special Valentine’s Day Menu. Once you’ve popped the question, pop the finest cork to celebrate: Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial, from Epernay, France. It’s very engaging.

à la Mode Evening
The perfect ending to a perfect evening (V-day is one of those holidays when you’re allowed to indulge) is a scrumptious dessert. When it’s after dinner and you’re not ready for the date to end, suggest a stroll to Gelato d’Italia at 250 Detroit St. Gelato and sorbetto are their specialties and the menu also includes baked treats like cookies, cobbler, strudel, cake, brownies and tarts.
