Here + Now

We’ve been day dreaming of the sidewalk sales of summer and the only thing that can hold us over is the annual InSidewalk Sale in Cherry Creek North. It’s the warm way to bargain for the best deals of the year. Some sale items are up to 80% off! And the most exciting part is each destination is getting ready for the hottest trends of 2010. Let this be your guide.

InSidewalk Sale

Sales at first blush
Blush at 222 Steele St. is offering 60% off all month long. The mother/daughter-owned boutique has a selection of posh-yet-comfortable styles – coveted labels you can’t find just anywhere, including Velvet, Catherine Malandrino, Chan Luu and Beautiful People. Oh, and the black, white and pretty interior is the perfect atmosphere for a girl’s weekend shopping spree. Shop on ladies!
Fashion-forward and 40+
Finally, a store that caters directly to the fashion-forward 40+ crowd. Harriet’s at 300 Fillmore St. offers the styles of San Francisco designers and you will find everything from all-weather jackets and hand-knit sweaters, to purses, shawls and even precious stone jewelry. Alterations and shopping services are also available. Plus, you will be greeted by the store kitty, Bud. All fall and winter merchandise is 25% to 75% off for a limited time only.
Fair trade artisans
Welcome to the World Caravan sale. Support fair trade by purchasing handcrafted goods produced by artisans throughout the globe. Ten Thousand Villages at 2626 E. 3rd Ave. “alleviates poverty through long-term relationships with artisans, payment of a fair price and promotion of gender equity and environmental sustainability.” Through January 31st receive 25% to 75% off select merchandise ranging from folk art to ceramics, textiles, baskets, jewelry and musical instruments. Let one of their 40 volunteers explain the origin of your selection.
Chic wintering
Baby, it’s STILL cold outside. Now that the holiday season has passed, the only thing we can continue to enjoy is wearing our winter best. Dan Sharp Luxury Outerwear at 281 Steele St. offers a collection of fine European winter wear that is the future of fur. We’re not talking about grandma’s mink stole – this is the chic new way to winter. And right now you can bundle up for less during the Dan Sharp Winter Wear sale.
Face time
With all the resolutions promulgating, it is time to refresh your mind, body, and now: face. This is the closest you’re going to get to a time machine in 2010, so let the younger you show through. The Squires Clinic for Plastic Surgery at 3003 E. 3rd Ave. is offering $75 off Juvéderm treatments just for Cherry Creek North enthusiasts. Told you we were friends with benefits.
