Bromwell Elementary Homemade Valentine’s Card Sales at Show of Hands

Those little sweethearts at Bromwell Elementary School have opened their hearts again to continue the lovely tradition of selling handmade Valentine’s Day cards to benefit a local charity.   For 2010, the Student Council has selected Water for People (www.waterforpeople.org), to receive 100% of the proceeds. Water for People assists people in developing countries by developing locally sustainable drinking water resources, sanitation facilities and hygiene education programs. 

The cards, created by every student from Kindergarten through 5th grade, will be sold for $3 each at the Show of Hands gallery at 210 Clayton Street from February 4th – 14th.
The event will kick off on Thurs. Feb. 4th with a reception for the artists from 3:15 until 6:00PM.
