Clayton Lane Fine Arts
Nov. 5, 6:00 – 9:00pm: Clayton Lane Fine Arts will feature the contemporary mixed-media paintings of Colorado-based artist Britten beginning with an artist reception the evening of Friday, November 5th. Britten will be in attendance to share her inspiration and process. Revealing a soulful and ethereal moment through a distinctive poetic visual language, Britten embraces elements of nature, capturing their essences and transmitting them onto canvas. Mysterious inner landscapes emerge and beckon the viewer to swim in their luminous tranquility. Join us!
Creator Mundi, Inc. Gallery of Distinctive Sacred Art
Nov. 5, 5:00 – 7:00pm: Creator Mundi will showcase the work of Denver local, master craftsman and Santero, Michael Blatnik. An artist reception will be held on Friday, November 5th from 5-7pm where the artist will be available to discuss his Neo-Colonial works. Also on display will be finalists in the Foundation of Sacred Art’s “Yearning for Peace” art contest for 8th graders and high school seniors. In addition, several pieces of bronze statuary will be available for $52.80.

Esfahani Persian Rug Gallery
Nov. 8, 10, & 13, 1:00 – 2:00pm & 5:00 – 6:00pm: We are proud to present the Art of Persian Rug Weaving by an experienced master rug weaver whose family has more than 120 years weaving Persian rugs in the Iranian province of Kashan. Each day the show will be from 1-2pm with a second show following at 5-6pm. Traditional Persian sweets will be served as well.

Nov. 5, 6:00 – 9:00pm: Gallerie Rouge presents “Polish Poster Art…a different view of the world” with an opening reception on Friday, November 5th from 6-9pm. Polish poster art has long been valued and collected across Europe and Asia with increasing popularity in the US. Nov. 13, 6:00 – 9:00pm: Mangelsen – Images of Nature Gallery in Cherry Creek North invites you to meet world renowned nature photographer Thomas D. Mangelsen at an Artist Reception Saturday, November 13 from 6-9pm. Tom will be premiering his latest images from expeditions to Alaska, Canada, and French Polynesia. During Denver Arts Week, Tom’s coffee table book “Images of Nature: The Photography of Thomas D. Mangelsen” will be available for $52.80.

Nov. 5, 5:00 – 8:00pm: Peace Dog will be hosting portrait photographer Merrissa Pratt on Friday, November 5th from 5-8pm. Merrissa will be taking photos of your four legged loved ones for the special price of $52.80. Pet costumes are accepted and matching per/owner outfits are appreciated. Also on display will be Tori Mitas Campisi’s “Dog Collection,” paintings that reveal a universal emotion that all viewers can tap into.
PISMO Fine Art Gallery
Nov. 5, 6:00 – 8:00pm: PISMO will host Steve Klein and his show “Moments.” An artist reception will be held Friday, November 5th from 6-8pm. “Moments” is a collection of Steve’s latest works in kiln cast glass using shapes, color, line, texture, and the incomparable reflection of light that only glass can provide. SAKS Galleries
Nov. 6, 1:00 – 4:00 pm: SAKS Galleries will be presenting Michelle Torrez’s exhibition “SKIN.” Michelle will be demonstrating her unique expressionist style and appreciation for painting the human form. “When light hits skin, it takes on such an incredible luminosity……if you look, really look at any human being, we are all so incredibly beautiful.” Please view picture here.
Show Of Hands
Nov. 5 – 13: Show of Hands presents “Warm Fuzzies.” Warm Fuzzies is a collection of wearable and sculptural felted wools by Evergreen, CO artist Nina Sampsel. Throughout Denver Arts Week, Nina’s richly colored wool creations will be on display at Show of Hands.

Nov. 5, 6:00 – 9:00pm & Nov. 6 10:00am – 5:00pm: Stop by for our Grand Opening Celebration! Join us for our special reception on Friday, November 5th from 6-9 pm. Ten Thousand Villages
Nov. 5 – 13: This nonprofit fair trade store will feature jewelry and crafts made locally by women refugees at A Little Something (The Denver Refugee Women’s Crafts Initiative). A Little Something helps refugee women living in Denver to gain skills and earn income through craft making. Ten Thousand Villages will also be collecting jewelry making supplies and bead donations for the artists at A Little Something.
