September 29, 2010Locally-owned, cherry creek north boutique celebrates 10-years in business
Denver-based, artist-owned “Elizabeth Lindsay Creations” is celebrating a decade in business in Cherry Creek North.
Elizabeth Lindsay Creations has been independently and artist-owned since the very beginning, and has become known as the affordable “go-to boutique” for unique gifts, accessories and one-of-kind jewelry.
Elizabeth Lindsay is the creator of the very popular, custom-made “Token Tags™ ” which are worn by local Coloradoans as well as several celebrities including the cast of Grey’s Anatomy and Desperate Housewives. Token Tags are hand-stamped, sterling silver, mini dog tags that the customer gets to personalize. They start at just $25.
“It’s a miracle,” states Elizabeth, “And that is exactly what our party invitation will say… It’s a miracle we are still here, and thanks to you (our valued customers) we are celebrating our 10-year anniversary.” Celebrations will take place on Friday & Saturday, November 12th and 13th, from 10am to 6pm, and will include sparkling drinks and yummy treats, and feature specials on Token Tags and giveaways.
Elizabeth Lindsay Creations is a long-time supporter of the community, and “Giving back is twice as nice” will be a central theme of the event. Anyone who brings in a gently-used item of clothing for Dress for Success will get a free gift, which will actually help the earth too… giving has never been so rewarding.
About Elizabeth Lindsay Creations
After selling her jewelry designs nationally to such places as Neiman Marcus and the Museum of Modern Art NYC for over 10 years, Elizabeth opened her very own retail location in Denver, Colorado in 2000. Since then, Elizabeth has developed a very loyal clientele and has received a number of awards and publicity including: Top of the Town, 5280 Magazine, Best of Denver 2010, Westword Magazine, Us Weekly, In Touch, CBS and many more. She has made her Token Tags for various celebrities including Oprah, Trista Sutter and the Colorado Rockies. Elizabeth supports two charities through her shop. One is for Breast Cancer and the other is In Defense of Animals. Elizabeth was chosen by the Susan B Komen Race for the Cure to do the 10-year commemorative pin for Denver. When Elizabeth’s mother “Cleves” was nearing the end of her 12-year battle with breast cancer, Elizabeth stamped out some words of encouragement and support for her father to wear .....he never took them off and that is how Token Tags were born.
