Welcome to The Hawt, where the food is so different and delicious, it’s cool. Denver’s premier bunless' hot dog and sausage establishment opened in January of 2012 and offers a twist that has been winning fans around the state. Instead of slapping our dogs and sausages on your average bun, we wrap them in fresh dough made daily and bake them with care until they’re golden brown. We do this only after perfectly charbroiling the meat and stuffing it with house-made ingredients.
At the Hawt we strive to support the local community, so all of our sausage is made locally and is all natural with no antibiotics or growth hormones. Our dogs are Hebrew National—so 100 percent Pure Kosher Beef. All of our dressings, sauces, chips and tator tawts are made in-house and come with the guarantee that they are made of the highest quality ingredients and spices around.
Don’t know where to start for a unique dog and sausage experience? Consider trying one of our tastiest Hawts, which include the Avalanche Ale Pork Brat; Spicy Andouille Sausage; Chicken Apple and Garlic Sausage; and our Smoked Buffalo and Cheddar Jalapeño Brat. Of course, you’ll want to couple these with our delectable sides, including our Grilled Dijon Maple-Glazed Sweet Potato Wedges; fresh gourmet salads; Sea Salt and Spiked Balsamic Vinegar Kennebec Chip; or our Maytag Blue Cheese Drizzle and Chive Tator Tawts. We’ve even got hand-crafted milkshakes to complement such a tasty meal. And be on the lookout: Wines and local Craft beer will be on the menu in the very near future.
We are located in the heart of Cherry Creek North on the southwest corner of 2nd Avenue and St. Paul Street with more locations to come in the near future.
