Saks Galleries is proud to present In Good Company, a landmark group exhibition opening May 1, 2026, honoring a remarkable community of Denver-based painters whose- weekly gatherings over decades have shaped one of the most vital traditions in contemporary representational art.For years, this group has met on Wednesday evenings to paint from life — not as a formal movement, but as a shared commitment to observation, discipline, and artistic growth. What began as a working practice evolved into a lasting creative lineage. In Good Company celebrates the profound impact of those long-term relationships and the work that has emerged from them.
The exhibition features paintings by: Anna Rose Bain, Raj Chaudhuri, Crystal DeSpain, Ann Gargotto, Paul Heaston, Quang Ho, Andrea T. Kemp, Emily Olson, Elizabeth Rouland, Daniel Sprick, Timothy J. Standring, Jen Starling, and additional Wednesday Night artist.
