Cherry Creek North is Home to Denver's Best Dog-Friendly Hotels

Cherry Creek North is a thriving, bustling, and beautiful neighborhood, its streets filled with wonderful shops, restaurants, spas, and top-notch hotels. Local businesses embrace pedestrians with open arms, and their four-legged friends are no exception. Dogs are not just welcome, they are pampered, and many stores offer bowls of fresh water or delectable treats. Here, you see dogs of every breed, from well-coiffed Pomeranians to large and gentle Bernese Mountain dogs.

Many of the area’s most-popular outdoor patios allow dogs, and it’s not uncommon to see clientele sipping a cocktail while their four-legged companion indulges in a fresh bowl of cool water. Out of town visitors adore the area, and Cherry Creek North’s upscale hotels bend over backward to cater to dogs. Here, we take a look at some of the perks hotels have to offer.

The Jacquard Hotel

The charming Jacquard Hotel & Rooftop goes above and beyond when it comes to pampering pets. Upon checking in, the hotel’s dog-loving front staff greets your pet with a a doggie bag, and the treats just keep on coming. Your dog will be pampered during his or her stay, with doggie beds, toys and treats. The hotel staff loves its four-legged guests, and participate in a variety of events benefitting MaxFund, a local animal rescue shelter.

The Jacquard charges a non-refundable $150 pet fee per pet per stay, for dogs up to 50 lbs. each, and has a special floor designated for guests with pets. “We try to keep dogs on one floor out of respect for other guests who may have allergies or prefer to be away from dogs,” explains Gary Phipps, Jacquard assistant sales director. “We are seeing more and more people bringing their dogs, and we love welcoming them to the hotel. Cherry Creek is a very pet friendly area, where businesses put out doggie bowls and even treats for dogs during a stroll through the neighborhood.”

Hotel CLIO

Hotel CLIO, a Luxury Collection Hotel, is all about making guests feel welcome, and that includes the tail-wagging variety. After a fun-filled day roaming the area, dogs love to wind down in their plush room, where pampering is a way of life.
