Show of Hands celebrates 35 years in Cherry Creek North

Category: New & Noteworthy

Amidst the cranes, new hotels, hottest restaurants, yoga franchises, craft-made coffee and beer houses, is a thriving artist community that only continues to expand and reenergize the Cherry Creek neighborhood—SHOW OF HANDS.

Show of Hands, a cornerstone of the CCN arts district, has two amazing women at the helm who have turned the long-standing gallery into the Cherry Creek Mecca of art and craft for both locals and visitors. Show of Hands features one-of-a-kind art, gifts, furniture and home decor from artists all over the USA. The gallery of custom art and gifts focuses on highlighting unusual, quality, creative, handcrafted art that makes our hearts sing!

In addition to owning and operating Show of Hands both Katie and Mandy are also the founding members of The Cherry Creek Arts District and were instrumental in creating the organization.

Congrats, and a big applause are in order for Katie and Mandy and their milestone. Stop into Show of Hands on 2nd and Clayton, with 4 free parking spaces directly in front of the building, next to the garden, for an art respite in Cherry Creek North. Or, if you just must see what is going on in the store at this very moment, visit their newly updated ecommerce website to see fun photos of products, the store, events and more. There are monthly coupons on the website and there will be a big anniversary discount up next month!

“The BID is thrilled to celebrate the five-year anniversary of Katie and Mandy owning a Cherry Creek North institution. They are doing an outstanding job of carrying on Show of Hands’ traditions while putting their own personal stamps on this store. Both are strong supporters of the community and its art legacy,” notes Julie Underdahl, President & CEO, Cherry Creek North BID.
