The 5 Best Hotels in Denver, According to T+L Readers

Category: In the News

Travel + Leisure recently polled their readers in the annual "World's Best Awards" survey. Hotels were rated on specific criteria including: rooms/facilities, location, service, food and value. Two Cherry Creek North hotels stood out: Hotel Clio, a Luxury Collection Hotel and Clayton Hotel & Members Club were both included in the top 5 list of hotels in Denver.

It’s a tale of two neighborhoods for Travel + Leisure’s readers’ Denver’s hotel picks. The top three favorites all sit in the Lower Downtown area, lovingly referred to as LoDo. Though it’s the Colorado capital’s oldest neighborhood, the 19th and early 20th century American West buildings mingle with trendy boutiques and eateries, making it one of the city’s most bustling areas. Meanwhile, the other two choices offer a more upscale suburban experience in the comfortably convenient Cherry Creek. Less than five miles southeast of Downtown, the residential area boasts more than 300 stores, 75 eateries, and even 50 spas and salons. The two clusters strike a perfect balance, making Denver a thriving urban destination with a dose of easy living.
