Meet Sarah Parker

A Leader in Fine Art and Culture

It’s long been said that Colorado gets 300 days of sunshine every year, and while Coloradans love outdoor adventures and relaxing on sunny patios, the one thing they don’t often expect to do outside is enjoy fine art. Though just last week, visitors were able to witness a live aspen painting by Artist Jeff McKay on the sun-soaked sidewalks of 3rd Ave. For over 23 years and nearly 8 years in Cherry Creek North, Masters Gallery has been curating fine art and culture for Coloradans.

Sarah, tell us about Masters Gallery

Masters Gallery is a gallery for distinctive fine art. The space is eclectic, with something for everyone. As a Fine Art Consultant, I work to bridge the gap between artists and collectors. Working with clients to select paintings, sculpture, art glass and more for their homes has been a passion of mine for 19 years. Throughout the year, we bring in new collections by our talented artists and schedule receptions where clients can meet the artists. Some of them even paint live which is a huge draw for collectors. The gallery offers a variety of services to ensure that our clients enjoy the art collecting experience from start to finish. We offer custom framing, in-home viewings, professional installation and for our out-of-state clients, shipping of anything they want to their homes. I would encourage anyone from beginner to a novice art collector to visit Masters Gallery for the most diverse collection in Cherry Creek North!

How did you get started in the business of Fine Arts?

My journey on this career path started 19 years ago in this very neighborhood. I was working as a very new esthetician, fresh out of school, when I got the opportunity to work part-time at an art gallery. For the next few months I ran back and forth between the salon and the gallery every day until I was offered a full time position at the gallery. They didn't have to ask me twice! I feel very fortunate for that opportunity so many years ago. Twelve years ago, I joined Masters Gallery and have not looked back. It's a wonderful place to be and I enjoy working with all of the people I get to meet.

What sets Masters Gallery apart from others?

What sets Masters Gallery apart is the variety of artwork shown in our space. Visitors often comment on how wonderfully eclectic the collections are and we pride ourselves on that. I always like to say I can find whatever you are looking for. In our space, you will find nearly every medium that artists create with; original oils, mixed media, glass, ceramic and bronze sculpture, just to name a few. We have landscapes, figurative works, abstracts, wildlife and a large collection of sculpture. Please stop by and enjoy the gallery!

When you are not working, how to you enjoy your free time in Cherry Creek North?

My dog Gwyndolin and I enjoy walking around the neighborhood, stopping by the shops to say "hello" and of course, she knows where all the treats are!
